Glassblowing Experience for Two
Ever want to create your own glass art? Now you can at the Seattle Glassblowing Studio, located on 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle. Founded in 1991, Seattle Glassblowing Studio provides public access to glassblowing through art and experiences. The onsite hot shop offers visitors the opportunity to see molten glass handcrafted by professional artists. The art gallery showcases gifts, jewelry, and fine art with a focus on Northwest makers. A full range of events and hands-on experiences are available to visitors and groups who wish to try their hands at glassblowing.
Two of you will schedule a two hour hands-on private lesson with an instructor to create a variety of shapes. With each new shape, you will learn techniques and refine your skills.
Typically, an average of 3 to 5 pieces are made during your lesson. Must contact to make appointment. Open 7 days a week.
