"Red Berry" by Washoe, framed

Chimpanzee art created by Washoe, a chimpanzee that communicates with humans using sign language. She named this "Red Berry." Washoe was raised by humans, then rescued and able to live out her life at a habitat built especially for her in Ellensburg, Washington. Frame is 15 3/8" x 20 1/4".

Robert Doisneau's Le Baiser de L'Hotel de Ville (Kiss By the Town Hall)

The French photographer, Robert Doisneau (1912-1994), was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honor by president Francois Mitterand. In the 1930s he photographed the streets of Paris. He was a champion of humanist photography and photojournalism. This renowned 1950 image depicts a couple kissing on a busy Parisian street in front of the Town Hall.
